I'm yet to see the mopar ones in the flesh, I had some minor powder coating issues with mine, which was easily rectified.

I spoke to a couple of installers and they reckon the Uneek looked like a stronger product than the Mopar.

What I like about the Uneek slider is you can keep the mudflaps on and the treadplate also limits debris hitting your lower doors.

Couple of threads on them here. Some Yanks did a group buy so they'll be able to compare them soon.

They look pretty good quality to me. Very solid, and a good fit.

Re: WK2 Offroad

Had some fun testing out the new Dynapro MT's today. Not a lot of mud around but they are a big improvement on the standard Michelins.

Probably hugged the bank a little too much here.

I didnt know about that spot before, thanks for sharing.

I went down yesterday and came down Gunshot, went into the creek rather than hugged the bank and it made it through ok. Unfortunately had a bit of an audience as a few of young kids were there in their jacked up patrols. I took some footage of my brother in law but he was too busy directing me to take any of me.

We spent the rest of the day exploring a lot of the trails and went down Patons Fire Trail and got into the trail ok but slipped into some trouble on the way back.

Was a great New Years day but spent today getting all the mud out.

For those looking for some offroad tracks I found this recently.

On the left side there are GPS way points which you can download for free!

Came across a tricky section the other day on a road that was supposed to be fairly tame. (Tame enough that the Google streetview car had previously been through).
Glad I was in the beast. The wife freaked out though. She's never seen a wheel off the ground before.
