Great product a quick question to those that have fitted it, im not sure if I have done the setup correctly. Sometimes my takeover works other times it kills the engine. What are you guys doing during take over the instructions are written for key start not push button as im using. My process is, remote start car, enter car, push unlock on the remote, push and hold start button then tap brake pedal. Sometimes this takes over other times it kills the engine?

My usual process is remote key lock button pressed 3 times then holding the door handle to unlock the car then inside I push the start button 2 times THEN press the brake pedal to put the transmission into Drive mode . I hope this helps with your problem.

Mmm maybe I need to push the start button twice to enter "on" mode? As single press could just be "acc" right?

Re: WK2 - remote start down under.

If you press it too quickly it will cycle through, in which case you just press it twice again unless the engine cuts out or steering wheel lock engages again... my steering lock disengages on the first press.

Hook up the horn and tell us how you go. It's there a horn trigger somewhere in the drivers kick panel? Can't be bother to run through the firewall.

Re: WK2 - remote start down under.

Anyone had any issues with there alarm going of after installing the remote start module?
Mine is going of randomly started the night after the install.
But if push lock twice seems not to go off.

Or i got that alarm fault some have mentioned before. Great just out of warranty.
