Sorry for the delay.. Only took to dealer last week.

No error codes stored. So the dealer is stumped why the engine management light comes on.

ALTHOUGH... when I showed the dealer the Flashlogic install documents to show how its wired, I noticed that there is a new entry.

It now has Grand Cherokee Diesel in the list of models. Together with the glowplugs ticked.

I think I need to flash the latest firmware and see if that cures the Engine Management light issue.

It still works despite that

Thumbs up Re: WK2 - remote start down under.

Okay, I have reflashed my flashlogic unit to the latest firmware

success No engine management light

Remote start works fine, ;left it running for 15mins and it then shut down. Car was nice and cool to get in.

Hoping come winter it will be nice and warm.

Obviously I will try and break it over the next few days to be sure.

can't get my heard round the takeover if you get in when running on remote start, but it will come.

Re: WK2 - remote start down under.

Hi there. I wanted to fit flash logic to my 2015 JGC SRT. Flash logic told me that after installation it would need to be sent back to them to flash and returned to reinstall. Is that what you had to do?

Re: WK2 - remote start down under.

Re: WK2 - remote start down under.

Figures. I emailed flashlogic directly before I bought my unit and asked could I update and ref lash using the pc. They told me the software is not available to end user to send it back to them!
Anyway I completed the first part of flashing.
Can I ask when the rapid green flash began did it continue flashing rapidly until you disconnected the cables?

How did you access the ref lash software ?.....may I ask?

Re: WK2 - remote start down under.

Thanks for the info.
I logged in to the flashlogic account. They don't make it easy to understand what your flashing! Then again maybe I'm not that smart!
There seems to be only two options to choose
Flash a bypass module which is the only remotely related option or code alarm system program?

Haven't bought the cable yet. Flashlogic want me to return the unit to them for kloning but I don't see the point if it can be successfully completed online.

No issues with installing this in 15 GC diesel, only took 5 mins to install.
Programming was easy by just following the instructions.

Re: WK2 - remote start down under.

Hi!
Any updates on the FLRSCH7 on the 2015 export model? I want to buy it but it's not listed on the product site so I don't know if it works properly.
