Wk2 tyres

I am looking at replacing My second set of tyres on My Jeep.
I am looking at RF10 Hankooks.
Has any one had any experience with these tyres?
What have others put on their Jeep.
I am in NSW and was also wondering where people found the best prices and service when buying tyres.

Thanks

Re: Wk2 tyres

I put on a set of Nexen Roadian HP's.
Quiet and seem to work well with the 14GC. Wife was happy with the price so win win.

Yeah I use the ATM RF10s and rate them highly for anyone considering an AT.

SnakeDr what how is the tread wear on these AT's. They advertise durable side walls but cannot confirm they are a LT tyre.

They come in lt in 275/65r18. Factory size weren't.

No idea about treadwear, the car will be long gone before I care,

Controversy of course but unless you are planning on driving around over or at gvm all the time you probably don't need the lt rated tyres.

Re: Wk2 tyres

I've got the 265/60/18's and are happy with them.
I do miss the extra clearance of the 275's but fuel economy around town is much better by around 1.5-2.0L/100km.
Not to mention they are alot quieter than the falken's they replaced (they were close to being bald though).

Haven't taken them offroad yet, but now that the warm weather is finally here, I'm sure it won't take long to try them out.
Plenty of grip on the black stuff even in the wet.

Re: Wk2 tyres

My last two GC's I have put on the Cooper A/T3's they are quiet on the highway and good traction on gravel and beach. Normally average about 70-80k my new GC will get the same when the factory tyres wear out👍
