2.7 crd fuel leak

hello, its fozzie from the uk, have a 2004 2.7crd wj overland had it 4wks now its decided to have a diesel leak from the fuel injection pump somewhere but only intermitantly mainly first start up, it seems to be a common fault on this fuel pump o ring seals apparently. has anyone had a go at repairing the seals or is it dealer/bosch agent. seen pics of seals & pump assembly but would like to hear it from someone else as it looks a pig to get it away from the engine.

Re: 2.7 crd fuel leak

Trust me, I wish we could have more Diesels in more regular vehicles over here and not just big rigs and pickup trucks and the handful of small suvs and cars with diesels in them.

My father in law has the 2.7 CRD in a Liberty (06 model i think) and i Wish i had bought a 2008 3.0 CRD WK but i could not afford it.

Re: 2.7 crd fuel leak

Hey Fozzie,
I had a same problem a year ago!
Found a spare O ring kit at Bosch for 30 and did it myself.
Not a big deal, just need to be careful when you install new O-R, because you have two sizes in the kit.
Hope to hear the good news from you!
Cheers
