yup all my neighbors on the left have no snow its all on the right side making a giant barrier between the car and the street. has to be 4 feet tall/wide and frozen. my jeep did good driving around at 7am, only problem i mad for myself was parking in a fresh 14 inches spot on a major ave and compacting the snow all around the jeep. i went in fast but spin the wheels to much so i had to just moved the snow around the 2 tiers to get some traction. that's the only down side to the WJ only a foot clearances underneath.

i understand what your saying with autozone workers, i have learned who knows what there doing so i only deal with them or go with the other and look at what there doing. i ounces had to show/tell the new guy how to use there system to find a part lol my friend was looking at me like i was nut. i told him after you go home with the wrong part and have to find a way to the store you will double cheek the number on the screen before you leave.

if you ever get the 4" lift in and want to take a wheeling trip let me know.

Clearance is such a pain with these things man, its like a car lol. I'm trying to talk the Mrs. into it, but she keeps saying only 2", we'll see what happens. I'll def try to set something up when its a little higher. For now, I get my wheeling kicks at the shea stadium junkyards lol

see if you can get a 2.5" or 3" kit and sneak the 3/4" spacers lol.

i took my stock wj Wheeling at rasuher creek offroad park in PA and did fine. even had the running boards on lol. but i have front/rear recover and TC skid. just have to pick the right line.

i would like to go to 3" but its a DD and my parents and grand mother get in it so cant go to high. max is 2 3/4" but am going to 2" with mx6 shock in the spring when i can install it if the snow goes away and scored a set of JCR stage 2 sliders used. so i can remove the runinng boards (gain a inch cleanses) still have steps and protection

everyone puts snow everywhere they can. but since your jeep is on the left side at least the plow wont put more snow on the side of thr jeep.

might want to get your batter check at autozone for free and alternator if you can.

good looking wj

Nice bro, the WJ seems pretty capable but I have my doubts coming from an XJ, man I miss that thing. Where in PA is that trail? Im usually in Bucks country on the weekends about 20miles north of Philly.

I'm probably gonna end up going with a 2"bb with Bilstein 5100s for starters since this rig is basically a pavement pounder then possibly adding UC springs so I can end up at 3". JCRs are nice, well built and you can still use them as a step if you needed to.

Yea bro my streets are narrow here too, plows cant come thru with the plow at its optimal angle. I get scared everytime i hear a plow come thru thinking its my bumpers last moment attached.

Did you see that video of sanitation tearing apart an suv during the december blizzard?

yea there pretty good but a XJ is more simple, weighs less, and a bit more clearances underneath so a a bit simpler to wheel.
rauser creek offroad park is at 453 Molleystown Rd Tremont PA 17981.
i went there with the New Jersey Jeep Association (NJJA) for a fundraiser (crawling' for the cure) and it was a nice event with 150 4x4. first time i went real offloading. they helped me but being one of like 3 WJ on the trails and having chrome on the WJ i was the odd jeep as soon as i went into the park, especially form all the wranglers. everyone on the trail looked at me like is he really driving that hear. best part was i was not the problem jeep of the group it was one of the YJ that ripped her sidewall on a tree stump on a hill with no jack http://www.njjeep.org/C4C2010Green2/slides/040.jpg

if you want to check out so of the park this is all the groups form that day,
i was in green group 2 http://www.njjeep.org/C4C2010.html

i understand. been trying to get a set of UC springs but no one is selling used for a good prices. just buy the shock for a max of 3" or 4" and will be good later on when you can go higher

Re: 9 deg outside wj hard start

Yes i did... shame shame shame... they actually plowed my block that ONE time 4 days after the blizzard but they used a back hoe.

Sanitation district around my way is a bunch of sissies/garbage nazis specially the sanitation cop who pissed me off a few nights after the blizzard i had a uhaul parked blocking acces to the block (because noone was getting in or out of that snow) for like an hour. This B$%^hA$$ pulls up next to me in his damn sanitation toyota prius and gets all ghetto with me. saying i gotta move the truck now or "i'm gonna move it for you" because they're finally going to plow. I'm like whatever dude i had to think twice before whipping out my real cop shield and letting him have. It was like talking to a damn teenager
