99 jeep grand cherokee problem!?

I have a 99 grand cherokee limited with the 4.7 v8. sometimes when i go to start it, it starts then stalls. i heard it was the idle air speed module, so i replaced it. That didnt do anything. Im tired of trying different things and just want to fix it. If you have any idea please let me know!

Re: 99 jeep grand cherokee problem!?

Did you also clean the throttle body and IAC air passage?
The TPS sensor or Crank position sensor can also cause your problem.
To read eventual fault codes, switch ignition switch on/off 3 x and leave it in on at the last time. On the ODO meter any fault will be shown, or DONE when no faults are stored.

Re: 99 jeep grand cherokee problem!?

Haven it scanned for codes, it will get u closer to a solution........if u get the dreaded p0315 Ign coil A primary/secondary circuit....be ware before replacing tps,
o2 sensor, catalytic converter, cps ,coil...most indications it may be the ecu.(pcm) be sure of your diagnoses.....good luck simply be sure to check all related connections
