Re: Air Intake

There are plenty of them out there. I will always stick with K&N but there are other good brands out there, airraid, volant, i think AEM might have one also.

Re: Air Intake

K&N is the best, others run different things. I run Spectre, something different. Works great.

Re: Air Intake

You can route them like JRK5892 or do your own thing. I run mine more to the right to cut down on heat absorption along the intake tubing

Re: Air Intake

Here is the link to all products for your 03 Jeep on the K&N website K&N Products by Vehicle Search - Year, Make, Model, Engine Search

I just installed the 77-1513KP yesterday on my 02 overland 4.7 H.O and highly recommend K&N. it is a great product.

Re: Air Intake

with the ported and polished TB it allows for more air flow and smoother at that, much much better throttle response and much fuller pedal feeling. there are a few members on here i think that have them in their trucks (it is here or the other jeep forum i can not recall) we do stock one of these for jeep members so we can do exchange programs. but we have never had a bench flow done on these or dyno. on our LS1 TB or other race car applications we do we have dyno/bench numbers to show improvement, but on this it is all seat of the pants. i wanted mine done when we where making up my intake, mainly because i wanted to powder coat my throttle body for a cleaner look. i was so impressed by the response i got from the truck that when a few of my other WJ buddies drove in my jeep they had theirs done... i love it
