Changed Spark plugs on my 4.0

Like the title says, changed it today and what a difference it made.

This is not a detailed How to, its so simple that a few pictures will do the trick.

tools needed:

13mm socket, wrench
extension
spark plug socket with rubber insert
anti seize ( optional )
gap tool
spark plugs

Begin by removing the 4 bolts of the coil.

This is how it looks disconnected. ( note: theres an electrical connection at the back end of the coil, you can disconnect it if you want to make it easier )

Remove the old spark plugs with the spark plug socket:

Here they are for comparison, and after being gapped accordingly:

Ready to install new ones:

Begin by screwing with hands, then with wrench, tighten it about 1/4 turn.

Do the same with the remaining plugs, reinstall the coil and you are done:
All buttoned up:

Checking for CEL:

Test drove it after i was done, and the jeep runs beautifully.......Hope this helps you guys out!

took me about 30 minutes from start to finish, should have done it a long time ago but I kept putting it off......

WOW Mon! I needed to do that to my old WJ. Is it a big difference? Does it feel more responsive now?

Yeah Paul it is actually a lot better, there was hesitation with the last set of plugs especially when the AC was on.

I did check all for gap even thou it was saying that they are already gapped. Only 2 of the 6 were a bit off...... if yours doesnt misfire since replacing it, you should be ok.
