Smile Re: Coolant Issues

Alrighty then,

1/2 the parts turned up today with the rest somewhere in Russia (thanks tracking program), so I brought local for the housing and paid the same price for shipping costs...lol
The uptake is that there is no separation in the oil, and swapped out the parts. Fan clutch had been leaking for a while so I'm happy to have changed it.
Took the jeep for a long drive.
Results so far show temp between 90 - 95 (usually 100 +- 5), no bubbling, gurgling noises and no leaking of coolant and fan clutch is working.
Will give it a couple of days to see if the coolant starts disappearing again. Lets hope not
Thanks all for your help

Re: Coolant Issues

Dude

Sorry to hear that your Jeeps in the machine shop. I guess that is the upside of having it stripped down already!!
When I purchased my JGCL I spent some time looking around and what attracted me (apart from the price) was the amount of people that had put in new motors due to cooling issues. I thought 'dumb city slickers don't look after their cars', but I was soooo wrong.
"Bloody alloy motors".
Hope things go well for you.
