If you have 0 luck then get a regular 2-3 claw puller remove the pully and remove cover. At that point replace the water pump with a metal impellar and buy a new cover gasket

Yesterday I did pull the head back off and got the chain back on the idler with hardly any trouble.
I got her all buttoned up today and it started and ran very nicely. I didn't hear any tapping or anything of the sort.
There is one thing that I still need to iron out though. There is a light smoke coming from the engine bay while and after the engine is running. I mainly worked on getting air burped out of the coolant today after getting it put back together. Tomorrow I am going to investigate where the smoke is coming from. Any ideas anyone? I'm having a hard time figuring out if the smoke is exhaust or oil buring.
