Engine Oil in the Water Tank

Hello, yesterday I went to a mechanic to do the levels and motor control, opening the pan I found the engine oil cooler. the mechanic tells me that is tested, but the car does not smoke regularly and turn white / gray, the only thing I'm noticing (even before this episode) and that in the first 10 minutes of use I could see the cold oil pressure increase, then stabilize.
The engine in question and a VM 3.1td Italy

Thanks in advance!
You are great!
hello from italy

p.s. sorry for my English

Re: olio motore nella vaschetta acqua

ciao, ti scrivo in italiano, almeno ci capiamo meglio...

the 3.1 TurboDiesel WG wasn't sold in american market...
it was an export model for european market...

this engine had a lot of issues with head Gasket and Head (five single head, one for each cylinder) cracked...

but the slashsan's problem is another...

the problem is a broken antifreeze/engine oil heat exchanger...situated near the oil filter...the result is an mix of oil and antifreeze in the oil pan and in the refrigerant reservoir/radiator...

i hope you learned something

ah, this engine was replaced during 2002 with an 2.7 liter 163 hp 5cylinder turbo diesel commo rail by Mercedes Benz...also the trans was replaced by Mercedes Benz NAG1 5 gear.

sorry for my bad english!
