You will not get the same sound as a range because range's have
1) A supercharger (makes that whirring/spooling sound)
2) A true dual exhaust system.

To get close to rangerover sound,
What you need to do is go to an exhaust shop, and get them to chop off the Y pipe and run a "true dual" setup on your WJ. After that get them to run the pipes out the sides of the truck, underneath the rear passenger door on both sides.

Read that post, it's made by Hannes, whose a mod here now, you need to talk to him, he's had more exhaust setups than you have fingers on your hand (if you're like me and have 3 fingers).

He went with a very aggressive muffler, you could tone it down and use an OEM SRT8 WK muffler and it'd give you a much more refined sound, until you give the skinny pedal hell (WOT).

Hannes exhaust setup video,

watch it, near the middle theres a bit where he accelerates hard, music to my ears.

My WJ has a completely different setup, and it's very "mild" I guess you could say, but it also has cutouts, so at the flip of a switch I get straight pipes and it's loud as hell and sets off every car alarm within a 10 foot radius lol.
