Exhaust?

Hi
well my wifes Wj has an exhaust leek and i think it is a good excuse for me to put a cat back kit on it.

Do you have any suggestions? a slight rumble is ok but to her ears quieter is better.

thanks
ray

+1 on the Magnaflow, they make a nice exhaust for the 4.7 from what I recall, pretty subtle from what I remember. Borla and Flowmaster will be a little louder overall but both nice exhausts as well.

Re: Exhaust?

BORLA!! I ordered a Borla muffler online, I think I paid about 150 for it. My buddy has a uncle who owns a muffler shop. Got him to take off my last cat, and run my new pips from the y pipe back with that Borla muffler. I get some many compliments, and it has a nice grawl around 3,500rpm

Re: Exhaust?

I have the 40 series flowmaster. Got it put on for 90 out the door. Has a nice tone to it and at cruising speed its pretty quiet. There are many good mufflers out there but for the money flowmaster is the best bang for your buck.

Re: Exhaust?

I like the flowmaster for something mean sounding but quiet at cruising speeds. Then again I took mine off and ran straight pipe with no muffler because the flowmaster was too quiet for my taste. You can't go wrong with a 40 series though.

Re: Exhaust?

since you have a CAI might want to consider the Kolak Exhaust with a Flowmaster 70 Series since it might help MPG

the 70 is a bit louder then stock but not as loud as the 40 series

the
Kolak Exhaust system changes the stock system to 3" pipes.

if you talk to the guy will help you allot and explane anything you need no know

can email him at Kolak@aol.com
