Exhaust Help!

Hey guys! I am looking at getting a new muffler, but cant decide between the Flowmaster 40, the Flowmaster 50, and the CherryBomb Pro. I have a 2000 Jeep grand Cherokee with the 4.7 V8 engine. Please help and tell em what kind of sound I should expect from these three muffler paired with my engine. Thanks.

Re: Exhaust Help!

Buy the muffler of your choice, and the Summit exhaust. Its a clone of the Kolak exhaust.

Expect some interior resonance with those mufflers.

Re: Exhaust Help!

I will buy the exhaust later. For now, I just need to know what these 3 different muffler will sound like with my 4.7. Any help is appreciated.

You're wasting your time and money with 2.5" exhaust, you can do it right , or right now. 4.7 needs 3" for best results.

Anyhow, they will have that chambered muffler sound. Will sound OK, I guess. Like i said, expect drone around 2k/70mph on the highway.

I ran a 4x14 round case Magnaflow for a while, I really liked it, was pretty loud but whatever drone there was, was acceptable for how loud it was.

Edit: just saw you have an 00, likely without precats and with the crimped Y pipe. It will be LOUD.
