Re: Flowmaster Muffler Series Question!?

just throwing this in, since you already made up your mind..... why dont you look at dynomax and thrush mufflers...... just for comparison. Since you are not going for the rumble anyways and the drone. A lot cheaper too with the same effect.

Just a thought.

Re: Flowmaster Muffler Series Question!?

So I got my Flowmaster 50 Series Delta Muffler.

But as I can see, the muffler i have on now seems to be weldon in the back left int, and the center tubing is just clamped on.

The muffler is a little bit shorter too, so i might need an extra tubing peice?

Idk, didnt think it be that complicated.

Any ideas with install?

Re: Flowmaster Muffler Series Question!?

You should take it to a shop, they will have it done in no time. Yes, they have to use an extension piece for it to fit, the wk muffler is the largest muffler i have ever seen in my entire life.

Re: Flowmaster Muffler Series Question!?

Oh alright. I kinda figured that. I looked at it, and i laughed. I dont have the tools for that crap.

Thanks.

I put the muffler on my exhaust tip pipe to let some air flow into the new muffler i have.
It sounds nice, can hear a difference. but of course, it wasnt attached to it, i just had the hole up next to my exhaust tip. lol. I'm silly.

Re: Flowmaster Muffler Series Question!?

To be honest, Borla, Magnaflow, and Flowmaster are all good to me. I've heard them all in person.

Re: Flowmaster Muffler Series Question!?

If you have not already. Just take it to a shop. They will probably only charge you $30 at the most for swapping out the mufflers. They also have plenty of pipe laying around if you need a small extension piece. You'll be in and out in like 30 minutes.
