super 40s drone a little less but sound about the same as the original 40
super 44s have the deepest and throatiest sound of them all but arent quit as LOUD as the original 40s.

imho super 44s ftmfw

here is a clip of them on my mustang

That sounds sick! Nice video.

Re: Flowmaster Muffler Series Question!?

I have a 3" Kolak exhaust, Magnaflow cat, Flowmaster 70 muffler, sounds amazing with no interior drone.

http://m.youtube.com/index?client=mv...?v=xfMebCUYRfM

http://m.youtube.com/index?client=mv...?v=70Ob3SI6R98

This was taken the first day, sound got better after break in, also the iphone4 cam does not capture the deepest sounds, not making justice to reality.

I am very satisfied with this setup.
Got it from Kolak, he got great pricing on those exhaust parts, check it out, Kolak@aol.com

Re: Flowmaster Muffler Series Question!?

Go with the magna flow if you want that deep sound.

My Magnaflows on my 5.7 WK2 drone. I have had so many different exhaust setups on several V8 cars, trucks, and SUVs over the years. Of them all I still prefer the original 40 series flowmasters because there is nothing deeper sounding without being super raspy and crackely. Super 40s and super 44s are not as deep and good sounding as the original IMHO. 50 series might be better sounding on an I-6 motor though never heard good sounding exhaust on an I-6 Jeep.

Re: Flowmaster Muffler Series Question!?

Just got a Flowmaster 70 installed on my I6 WJ. I'll be getting a nice tip put on Friday. Not very loud but its exactly what I was looking for.
