Header/engine change question?

Hello, I've been looking to redo my entire exhaust system on my 99 WJ. Everywhere I look they say the header will fit grand cherokee's from 91-99 and that the part ins't compatible with 00 and newer style WJ's. Why would this be did they change something from 99 on up?

Any good exhaust systems you guys recommend? I will be redoing everything. Cat, sensors, everything.

Re: Header/engine change question?

It was probably a misprint. They probably mean 93-98 ZJ's. Not sure if you can get headers for a WJ V8 anymore but there should be some options for the 4.0.

OP has a 4.0. Supposedly gibsons can be modified to fit on the 4.7, but anyone who has said this has never really bothered to post pics. One of these days when I'm not knee-deep in work I'll buy a set a set of 4.7 manifolds for the sake of porting.
