And it's the 4.7 v8 so it goes under the pump pulley

I just wanted to say that if you put it on wrong, the pump.could run backwards and almost create no flow so overheat quickly .

No signs of water in the oil or vice versa. Runs fine I drained the radiator after the new cap and re filled it seems to be ok now, still getting to 210. Before all this without thermostat wouldn't get over 190ish, no matter how bad I beat on it . But we will see how it goes next couple days
