K&N filter not fitting

Hi, I have a K&N filter and aftermarket tube. The blue elbow is to small for my carb. port. 3" for the elbow and it's about 3 1/4" on the carb. Has anyone had this problem? If so would you let me know what you did to make it fit?
Here is 2 pics for the sizes.
Thank you, Dan

Re: K&N filter not fitting

That's odd, looks like the tube might be for a different throttle body (not carb, btw ) Perhaps the tube was designed for the I6 engine not the V8?

oops.. throttle body.. I knew that..
I'll have to find another elbow. If I find something I'll post it in case someone else runs in this problem.

Re: K&N filter not fitting

I agree with Aaron, sometimes you may order something for an I6 and end up with something that goes on a V8 and vice versa.
