New exhaust??

What would be a good exhaust upgrade from the stock exhaust?

Re: New exhaust??

it depends on what sound you're looking for. I have a flowmaster 10 series. My first muffler was a flowmaster 40 series I love the tone just not loud enough for me.

Re: New exhaust??

I would run str8 headers but its not a V8 so that would be to cheesy but I want something that would give it that deep growl

Re: New exhaust??

Im looking into that for my 4.7ho and I think I'm going true dual and going to have two flowmaster super 44. I know someone who did that and it has this really mean low growl to it.

Re: New exhaust??

The srt8 headers cannot fit on the 4.7V8. It all depends on how loud you want and how much drone your willing to deal with. Usually the louder the muffler the more drone you will get on the freeway. Running true duals is very tricky. There isn't a whole lot of room for the dual mufflers. You should think about a dual inlet/outlet muffler.

Re: New exhaust??

I just installed my Gibson Performance slant cut exhaust cat back. I absolutely love the sound. Its the best of both worlds it sounds great but isn't too annoying loud. low rpm or cruising you can barely here it till you start getting into the throttle.

Re: New exhaust??

Maybe I will have to do that. There are quite a few dyno shops here in town. I would also like to test a few other things on the jeep as well. As well with share all the information with you guys.
