RHD Grand Cherokee Limited Throttle Body

Can any one, please, confirm the US OEM throttle body for the US version 4.7 l. V8 is the same as the RHD version V8 4.7 l.?

Thanks. The part is USD 475 and non-refundable if I buy it and take the chance.

Re: RHD Grand Cherokee Limited Throttle Body

The part works perfectly. I was warned by the parts man that there may be issues with the ECU.

I changed it because I had an idle problem. Sometimes while idling for a long time the engine would rev up and down. A friend here who loves cars (Jaguars) suggested that I just replace the whole thing rather than trying to identify the individual controller to change. Made sense to me to get a brand new one and start fresh.

Changing the whole throttle body for an irregular idle problem? Does your friend change his whole engine when he needs new plugs?
Irregular idle in your case was.most probably the TPS which was getting bad. Also dirty IAC stepper motor plunjer and air canal can cause irregular idle.
