did you try putting in neutral to see if it would star (pic of switch below)

The switch is indeed just above the tranny pan. Seems that some fluid will come out when removing the switch. Don't know about the ability you have to change the switch right now, but if really needed you could bypass this switch with a wire connected between the starter relay pin 85 and ground. You only have to be carefull that you put the gear selector in neutral or park before starting, because with this wire it will start in any gear position. But if its only to get home, it could safe your trip.

They sold me a little silver three pronged switch. The connector to this switch was chewed through. and i cant find anywhere that this is sold. you guys know anywhere i can find this connector?
