Temperature

2000 GC 4.7 2wd

After about 10 minutes going 65-70 mph on the freeway, my temp gauge rises to the line after 210 degrees. It stays there for about 5 minutes then drops back down to 210.

What could be causing this?

Thanks!!!

Re: Temperature

Its most probably the thermostat which is sticking somewhat. You could try a new one and see if that changes anything.
