Just for those two alone it seems appealing.

I think a lot of these engine cleaners are snake oil...but that's just my opinion. I swear by Shell and Sunoco fuels and I do use Lucas fuel treatment.

In my old TJ, I had a bolt come loose that ended up getting swallowed in through the intake and blowing the motor. I was an avid Shell and Sunoco user then and ran Lucas. I got to see the inside of this motor...it looked brand new in there. Hardly any carbon build up on the pistons, etc. That motor had 120k on it.

As for the FIPK, in theory, it should...but based on my experiences with them, they don't save any measureable amount of fuel. Don't buy it for fuel economy. Buy it for performance and that cool sound.

Re: Thirsty 4.7

I'll add my $.02.
I have used SeaFoam. I swear that is what fouled my plugs and cats. Luckily my cats were under warranty. Had them replaced and I wont use that stuff again.
K&N, although they sound great and let the engine breath more, they also let in more dirt and debris.
The stock cloth filter allows for sufficient air flow to the intake and blocks the smallest of dust and debris.
I am getting 15.5 mpg average. I drive in rush hour traffic to and from work on interstate and curvy, hilly backroads the rest of the way.
Interstate cruising when no traffic I get 22-23mpg.
Even though your tires are aired up properly, some of them are just more aggressive or heavier and therefore apply more rolling resistance. The beefier the tire, the heavier. The heavier, the worse the mileage will be.
Keep the change.
