Throttle body spacer, worth the time and money?

I was looking at some throttle body spacers for the 4.7l ho's. Are they worth the time and money? Will I notice any improvements in mpg or hp/tq?

Maybe along with an CAI?

Re: Throttle body spacer, worth the time and money?

I've had them on V6's and V8's and they've helped in gas mileage, but along with it I also had engines bored out, intakes, exhausts, etc, etc etc. added too. But newer vehicles it's pretty much a waste of money on most models.

My cousin has a airraid t.b spacer on his 4.0 pfffft. Only is a noise maker. Spend $ on pnp t.b that will gain you.something combined with a intake and exhaust
