Re: What is your favorite Muffler/Exhaust Manufacturer?

You might be better off searching on Magnaflow's site, taking down the part number and then looking for that part number on Summit's site. I've had to do that a few times.

Sounds good.

Anyone try the Flowmaster Super 10? I've read that it's so short that you would need extra pipe to make it work.

Re: What is your favorite Muffler/Exhaust Manufacturer?

The flowmaster delta flows 50's are a bit quieter and have less interior resonance than the regular 40 series on my brothers silverado and they are stainless unlike the regular flowmasters. Then again, there are two mufflers on my caddy, so that probably isn't a fair comparison. My dad's old dodge truck has headers with dual exhaust and super 10's and it sounds killer! Of course, it is a scratch built carbuerated 360 stroker motor pushing just over 400hp and 450 ftlbs of torque. That makes it a bit hard to compare sound to a slightly modded 4.7 HO. LOL I for one would love to hear a 10 series on a 4/7. but I'd never run one on my daily driver.

Re: What is your favorite Muffler/Exhaust Manufacturer?

I love my Borla on my '05 GTO. Not sure if I want to make the Jeep any louder though. I noticed Borla's cat-back is only listed for the Laredo and Limited. Anybody know why it won't fit the Overland?

Thanks for the links. Youtube has been screwy lately. All I get when I search for Jeep is a link to the factory Jeep site.

Re: What is your favorite Muffler/Exhaust Manufacturer?

I have the 50 series in my WJ and find it perfect for a daily driver. at first it doesn't sound too loud just a bit more throaty compared to stock and I was disappointed wishing I got the supper 44 but after a week or two it "broke in" and sounded great! now after about 4 months it has broken in a bit more and has a great deep and loud sound especially when you go wide open throttle it sounds great! other then that it has a slight drone inside at around 1500-1800 rpms and always sounds deep and throaty

I believe it's because that system is only for the 4.0L...which was not available in the Overland.
