WJ 4.0 Power

Hey guys, im looking to get some good power out of this legendary 4.0 motor, but nothing involving removing the motor haha ive got the typical K&N cold air and i got the Flowmaster but of course looking for more. Ive looked into the throttle body spacer and Superchip power programmer. What do you guys think?

Unfortunately, this is already my second WJ and i down graded to the 4.0 i had the 4.7 so now just trying to relearn the tricks of the 4.0

Thanks guys

Re: WJ 4.0 Power

You don't need a Throttle Body Spacer. Don't buy any cheap things.

Port you Throttle Body
SuperChips Programmer

Or if you ant more horsepower stroke it to a 4.7L! I was going to do that to my WJ, but I found a killer deal on my WK.

Re: WJ 4.0 Power

I agree with Paul throttle body spacer is a waste. Look for maybe a camshaft or removing the pre-cats.
