There's no real need, since it's not Primer/Paint/etc.. you can just plasti-dip it again if it starts to wear.. it's pretty resistant to your everyday.. obstacles

you shouldnt need a clear coat, and one wouldnt work anyway because the paint will soak it up... its super durable stuff made it through a tough winter without a problem and even if it did chip like its been said 10 bucks to fix it with another coat...

If your blacking out your grille and rims you should smoke out your tail lights with some lens tint spray from autozone very cheap but looks good. i did mine it turned out awesome and its the finishing touch. The break light shines through prety well and mine are completely black.
