Hey, I was wondering where I could get a custom hood for my WJ.
It has very small rust spots and it's time to replace it. But I'd like to go with what "jeeppro" has. ha. If they make it for my jeep.

Let me know!

I'm in the same boat as you Andrew, mine has a little bit of rust inside just under the sound proofing material - annoys me when I notice it...

The Deep Throat STS composite hood looks pretty awesome on 'custom-hood.com', not bad at $789/$689 after rebate.

I think you should go the custom route. Find an oem hood that you like and steal the scoops from it. Any good body shop can do this. My shop has been bugging me for months to do a custom hood...but theres really not anything out there that I like or would look right on the WK. You could always buy the YoungMedic hood and chop it up to work on the WJ. I think that would be badass!

The SRT10 Ram hood scoop would be sick?

Yeah, I think I'm going to buy the STS hood next year (fingers crossed they'll ship it too me), that would look so good on the Jeep.

Just googled some pics of the SRT10 RAM and drool is forming! :D

EDIT: I'd cut the front of the scoop off and put some mesh behind there to let the cool air in (its sealed in the pic, but I'm guessing everyone cuts it off anyways)!

Yep, same hood.

That will look bad ass on your WJ Andrew, I'm definitely getting one next year!

More air to the engine/intake and it'll certainly look unique. :)

I don't think they paint them (could hit them an e-mail) but they are ready to prep and paint.

Now you're getting me excited, I want to see it actually fitted to a WJ! I just know it will look awesome!
