I'm 18, never spray painted anything in my life.. this is something you can do mate
Here's what I did;
Get a socket wrench and find a 7MM bolt
Pop the Hood
There are 4 bolts at the top of the grille, unscrew those(if you're jeep is old be careful, I snapped off one of my bolts :-/)
After those 4, there are 3 bolts at the bottom in the inside of the grille, using the 7MM wrench you can take those off.
Your grille will be a bit loose.. now pry it towards you carefully and at the top right, and left will be a washer(mine was rusty as hell and I had to pry them off bending them with a flathead screwdriver and a pair of plyers.. well actually they were wire cutters LOL :-P
After those two come off you should be able to pull the grille off without taking the bumper and then you can seperate the backpeice from the grille itself..
DO NOT LET IT SIT ON ITS BACK, YOU WILL BEND AND BREAK THE CASINGS USED FOR IT TO BE BOLTED AND SECURED! My advice lay if faceup and then go outside place some newspaper, or a cardboard box, then get some stones or something to lift your grille up so that the casings for the bolts are not supporting it and won't snap
But before you do that make sure you get a rag, and some water and just clean off your grille don't want to paint bug guts all over xD
Now set it back down(If you do go with the Paint-Dip, it comes in a spray can and works awesome, will give it a plastic look as well) stand back and spray it accordingly... some say more light coats vs heavy coats.. but I just did 2-3 heavy coats and let it dry for 4 hours.. then I just put the backpeice back behind it, and attached it back to the car and bolted it in!
Hope this helps and saves you some money!
