Re: Auxilary Gauge Mounting Locations

They are Speedhut gauges. These were the ones with warning light so $170 + $10 for the custom logo. The non warning ones are cheaper and some fo the other styles might be too. They have 3 or 4 different ranges.

Re: Auxilary Gauge Mounting Locations

Just to follow up on this. I am going to pull the trigger on the trans temp gauge and mount it in the cubby hole below the heat/AC controls and then mount the oil pressure gauge in the location at the beginning of the thread. I want the oil pressure gauge more readily in my line of sight. Trans temp is not as important since I am not towing things on a regular basis.

Autometer 2640 Electronic trans temp gauge
Amazon.com: Auto Meter 2640 Z-Series Electric Transmission Temperature Gauge: Automotive

I am going to use this mount and put it in the cubby hole in the dash below the heater/ac controls
Auto Meter 2236 Black Aluminum Gauge Panel : Amazon.com : Automotive

I am going to use these to angle it so it is easier to see from the driver's seat
Amazon.com: Auto Meter 2234 Angle Ring: Automotive

Here is the original proposed location which will hold the oil pressure gauge when I save up for it.

Gee... can't ya give a guy a break? I have moved and started a new job in the past two months... living in temporary housing and working on buying a house.

Ordered from Amazon and should be here in a week. I think this install should be very easy.

Re: Auxilary Gauge Mounting Locations

Good luck with the new job man! Yeah it should be a straight forward install. It will look nice with the gauges under the ac/heater controls. I still want to see the gauge mount on the lower piece under the cluster. If you need a spare piece I have one in my junk pile I can send you. Just pm me!

Re: Auxilary Gauge Mounting Locations

New job is going well other than the steep learning curve that I expected. We can talk more in a year after they get used to me and I settle in here.

I will get the oil pressure gauge mounted to the left of the wheel... just need a bit more cash for that gauge. The T fitting for the sending unit is already installed and waiting. I will send you a message on that extra piece. I can use it as a test run before I cut up the factory piece that has controls for the power pedals. Thanks!

Re: Auxilary Gauge Mounting Locations

Nice man I am finally getting a chance to do kinda the same thing. If I can't get one ill use mine. Just wanted to keep the original. Or if you want to hold of to see how I do my setup. It will be in carbon fiber if you want to wait.
