Re: brush gaurd/bull bar

I always liked the Westin Safari one.... It's not too thick and its low profiled....
Unfortunately, since I don't off road... I like it for looks.

However, they do have the bigger n obnoxious bull bars that you might like.

Fab up your own if possible...I made my own mounts that bolt through the sway bar mounts and the front most hole along the body channel

Re: brush gaurd/bull bar

I am going to tackle this long thread and see if someone has already posted but I'm coming here now to ask simply. Is it possible to buy the bracket mounts for a 2002 Overland, to mount a brush guard? Specifically, I'm looking at these folks here...
Truck Gear Direct
They said the Westin or Aries bracket mounts would work on the Overland model. Any help or guidance would be appreciated. Unfortunately, I don't have the means to fabricate them myself. Thanks.
(My brother might but he would need to know the design to do it.)

Re: brush gaurd/bull bar

I'm also not expecting to use the tow hooks as a result of a brush guard installation. That's where the brackets are supposed to go. I'm just wondering if that's the only limitation with the Overland and a brush guard or will it sit against the actual body or if there is another reason why they say it's not compatible.

I'm probably pulling mine off and selling it. I loved it but i'm looking for a different look now.

I've got mine on now. It was just the issue with the tow hooks. I took them off and the brackets that came with the brush guard fit perfect. Here's a picture of it.

I also got the rugged ridge illuminated rocker switches installed as well. Happy with the outcome!

Definitely! Let me know what you want for them and I'll see what I can do! They're the chrome ones also, BTW.
