Re: Brush Guard for my WJ or no?

I'd say if you were going to wheel it then yes go for it, no question.

As you're not though, I'd say get a chrome bumper guard like Paul's (Father Paul). My dad has one on his ML and although I don't like it personally (prefer the clean look) its doesn't not overkill. Chrome tubular side steps look good with them too.

is that what it is? my special edition didn't come with tow hooks, I thought they were an option. So it should fit then?

I have also thought about getting some black nerf bars too. But I am really not supposed to be spending much money if any on the WJ as it's my daily driver, so I will wait around for someone to sell a used yet of those as well

Go for it, bumper guard - despite it looking really ugly on my wk, it saved my bumper a few times

EDIT:

Found this through a member, all you gotta do is paint it!

Would prolly look like this on the front.

Re: Brush Guard for my WJ or no?

yeah i know think that the limited bumper might be a little different than loredo to remove but i know it will work. I just bought a used Westin push bar/brush guard for my loredo from a guy who had it on his limited.

Re: Brush Guard for my WJ or no?

now I came across another one on another forum as well, it's a Westin brand one. Excellent condition. A little less then double the price of the 1st one, but this one needs to be shipped. Which doesn't give me a chance to make sure it will fit right. He has it on a limited and he said the samething it was told that it wouldn't work but he tried in person, and it bolted right up. I spoke to CS for a website that sells the guard and that person said Westin doesn't recommend it for the SE model, and they recommended "aries". I emailed Westin now also, hopefully get a response later on today asked if it will work on the SE, and if not why not. They have it listed that it's only for the Laredo model. I just don't want to buy something that might not work out.

Re: Brush Guard for my WJ or no?

I think I am going to be grabbing the Westin one up for sale on the other forum. Is there anyone in the area that would help me mount it if I need some help?
