Re: Carbon Fibre...the reveal

Thanks Paul.

Cheers Kyle. I'm really pleased with it. Got three windows left to tint and it's driving me fuggin mental! Looks a lot better tinted although it's only one side that's done so far

Got the rear window to tackle tonight. That'll be another four hours battling with bubbles and squeegee. Seriously there was no way in hell I was paying $600 to have them done professionally, although I now realise that it is money well spent. Me and tint film are

True, I was just thinking the other day about just taking off or taping off and painting all my black plastic parts and the weather stripping with black paint. But idk

Fawk knows, but when the dude told me I almost died. There are only two places near me that do it, both are really good, as I see there work quite a lot and 400 (about $600) seems to be a fairly normal price. But there's no way in hell I can justify that amount.

That said I've been cursing solid for three nights now. Only managing one window per night

Damn, I guess I've just been spoiled b/c "I know a guy" and $200 got me the all 5 and the strip at the top of the windshield. I haven't had to pay an actual tint shop in like 8 years . Rolling around with only one tinted window would suck. I'd be mad too.

I've managed to get the guy down on price to 250 (about $375), seems he's trying to be better pricewise than the other shop in town. I'd love to be able to do it myself, but I'm now heading to night four of this.
