I'm finally finished, well for now anyway:D.

Here's the final installment of pics for you guys. I will post more once I've finished tinting my windows (damn that's a PITA job!)

Enjoy...

^^You'll see a slight bubble in the rear door strip. This is due to an existing blister in the weatherstrip (lazy I know)

Should look a lot better once my windows are done:thumbsup: It took about two hours or so to complete what was left, as I spent the first half hour wiping cat sh*t from my shoes, as someone's moggy had taken several dumps outside my workshop!

Sweet maryjane that's a lot of CF vinyl! Looks real nice too.

You going to coat the rear bumper piece in some sort of clear coat? I am thinking about covering my ashy rear pad with some vinyl but am a little worried it won't stand up the to wear and tear of getting stuff in and out of the rear hatch. be sure to let us know how it holds up for you.

thanks guys.
Yeah Joe, I covered my rear step thinking it would stop it from getting so ashy, but it doesn't make much difference. It seems to be holding up very well though. I've had a few heavy loads dragged in and out over the last couple of weeks. I never thought about clear coating it, that sounds like a good idea. I've got plenty spare. I'll give it a try and see how it goes.

Thanks Paul.

Cheers Kyle. I'm really pleased with it. Got three windows left to tint and it's driving me fuggin mental! Looks a lot better tinted although it's only one side that's done so far:lol:

Got the rear window to tackle tonight. That'll be another four hours battling with bubbles and squeegee:rolleyes:. Seriously there was no way in hell I was paying $600 to have them done professionally, although I now realise that it is money well spent. Me and tint film are :slapfight:

$375 is alot better than 600 for sure. Maybe you should go Terry Crews on his ass^^ til he decideds to give you a really good deal! hahaha

Looks great Aaron, looks excellent!!

I need to admit I personally love the wood on the interior but I can see the CF being less 'old fashioned and sporty'...

My weather strips look good too and tie in nicely with the step. Did you manage to remove the rear step to do it or did you leave it in place - I wanna get mine colorcoded.

Cheers Marty
Yeah I like the wood too but fancied something different. Looks better with the alcantara too.
Because of the hitch, I couldn't remove the step. If you stick your head under you'll see a huge girder blocking access to the clips that hold it in place.
If you remove your hitch first, you just need to undo the clips and you're good to go:thumbsup:

Ugh, that stupid freaking hitch... I hated it from day one and here 3 years later its still there. As soon as it's off I'm gonna take it somewhere and batter the hell out of it then shoot holes in it. LOL

I'm checking eBay everyday for a uncut rear skin, so far no luck but the bar won't be coming off until the MoT in May. Think I might do the '04 front end upgrade next year too. :D
