Cut-out fender flares? Anyone use them?

Hey I'm looking to make the jeep look more 'finished' by adding some flares on the cut-ou wheel wells. Anyone have/use them? Any recommendations/tips/horror stories? I have a 99 gc with 6" iron rock long bar on 33's.
I know this thread is useless without pics but I'm at work, will post up tonight!

These are just an example that popped up when I googled.

Thanks for the replys, 206wj when you get yours post up before and after would you? Some I've seen look great and others not so much-to me. Because everyones taste is different.
Heres mine now

Looking at front bumpers as well, I'll get it there. I really enjoy looking at what all you guys do and trying out diffferent things in my head to make it mine. I've already done both head gaskets as they were leaking when I bought it and now its running like a dream. Also I had rocker arms falling off, I drained 5 quarts of thick, chunky "rotten milk with cottage cheese" out of the crankcase, nasty stuff. Cleaned the heads while they were off plus seafomed it in the intake as well as the new oil and gas tank, no more rockers falling off.
I love driving this truck!

@Scottrn: Nice pics, I've been looking for demonstrative pics of the chrome Gen III's. I think I'm going with them over black, they look good on your WJ.

Thanks, I do like it! I do miss the tint tho, I had an inspection done while I'm down here visiting Texas, made me remove it. I'm gonna wait to replace it until we get to Colorado and see the rules there.

If you're going to do some wheeling you may want to look at this package

http://icelandoffroad.com/GrandChero...S/Default.aspx

If i didn't already have the sliders and bumper I would do it. They also have a non winch bumper package too..

Re: Cut-out fender flares? Anyone use them?

I really was in love with the Iceland flares till I seen this pic from the side. The front flare is beautiful but that back one I don't know.I wish they would have made a little piece for the rocker so it matched the front and extended the flare to the bottom of the back bumper.I know there is nothing to mount to down there but wouldn't that look so much better?I know I'd be willing to pay more if they could somehow make a full back flare. http://icelandoffroad.com/Portals/65...oner%20419.jpg

Yeah it's not amazing in that area, but I can live with that. I HATE the way it looks where it mates onto the rear bumper... THat's why I am waiting until I make my rear bumper.

Re: Cut-out fender flares? Anyone use them?

Yeah maybe you could bump out the bumper in that area and actually finish the flare in metal. That would really make a difference in the look. You would need the flares first to see where your at though. You gonna do a spare carrier?I'd love to see some pics when its done.

Yep that's my plan... Just need more time, and space to do it.
