Unhappy fogging headlights . . .

I think that my headlights are starting to fog-up so what's the best headlight restore kit that can be used with a drill?

Re: fogging headlights . . .

Just have them buffed, my friend did his just like you would on a faded paint job and they are crystal clear now.

Re: fogging headlights . . .

Fog up as in moisture? I had my two replaced at "350 a piece", although i doubt they were that much, at the time by the dealer compliments of my warranty.

Re: fogging headlights . . .

use meguairs plast-x, it works great...the only downside is you have to re-apply every two weeks or so. But that's still better then droppin the $$$ on new headlights. I just bought a new set of headlights for my jeep cause I got tired of doing it lol. a pair for a ZJ is only like 40 bucks haha

Im sure you WJ and WK guys have to pay a considerable amount more a new set.

One of my front headlights has moisture, but I mean when you see 99 wj that's lights are all yellowish/clowdy.

Re: fogging headlights . . .

If you use teh right compounds and polishes you can buff them back to life permanently. Not just a one week thing.

You can also get new ones off ebay for pretty cheap money.

Re: fogging headlights . . .

Just go to eBay and buy a new set...they aren't expensive...you can get chrome for like $80 shipped, your same headlights for $80ish shipping, and the Special Edition and later Laredo headlights, the black ones with the clear turn signal, for about $120ish...if I remember correctly...

That's the least amount of trouble, and you'll have brand new lights that outshine those faded ones by a mile...if they are fogged up on the inside....don't even try...
