Question Gen IV Projector?

So I was working on my HID guide and I noticed a new set of projector headlights from Eagle Eye. I'm not sure if anyone has seen them yet on here but I think it's safe to classify these as Gen IV or Gen 4. They are H3 Low Beam, H1 High Beam.

I believe you're on to something, they have to be Gen IV's

I am too! Assuming nothing else breaks on the Jeep, gen 3 projectors are next on my list. But I kinda like the looks of these, and if they are from eagle eyes they would match my tails!

Re: Gen IV Projector?

I've heard the H3 HID capsule isn't that great for focusing in some projectors so we'll have to see. I wonder if you could take out the LED strip and replace it with a high powered one? I bet that would sick!

Re: Gen IV Projector?

I hope it's got great output and I imagine the LED strip can be replaced with a high powered one. Where there's a Jeep, there's a way lol

Re: Gen IV Projector?

I'm starting to think I like the gen 3's better actually, a picture I saw made the led's look pretty weak, and I wouln't want to tear into brand new headlights just to replace a substandard part. Just my opinion, I do overall like the design though.

Yeah, I still think the Gen III's have the leg up as well.

Re: Gen IV Projector?

Oh wow, thanks for posting this. I'm not happy with the LED halo output on my Gen 3's, but I'm a little afraid to open them up to fix that. I've been thinking of buying the Gen 3 CCFL heads, but with this I have another option (of course if the light output on these really isn't that great I'd been in the same boat I'm in now).

If I were you just get a Gen III with CCFL's. They probably will have output better than the Gen IV's.

Re: Gen IV Projector?

Thanks for your input, I think I will go with the CCFL's. The styling on the new ones seem to be too cutting edge for me.
