That all depends on your painting skills...just remember, it's the GRILLE, so it's the first thing you see, and it takes quite a beating from rocks, bugs, etc. A pro paint job might be the smartest route to go if you're wanting an all black grille.
If you're going to rattle can it, just be prepared to re-do every once in awhile. Someone on here plasti-dipped theirs, but that stuff is designed to peel off, so I'm not sure how durable it is. Check out the WJ section or appearance section. He had pics if I remember correctly.
