I want to upgrade the look of my headlights and want to go with Halo's. Any suggestions for companies to order them from? And do they help or hurt with being able to see?

I got mine from carid. If you want the bright ones like GreenwithEnvy, get CCFL's, otherwise they're not that bright. I also got my projector/halo fogs from there too, those halos are as bright as non CCFL's but easy fix with LEDs.

I'm actually interested in doing the same thing. Spoke to some guys on the forum a month or two ago about Halos. I'm planning to get these, hopefully by next month. Every time I get ready to order them I have to fix something on my Jeep. I had to do the breaks, rotors, an axle seal, and buy a new rim because my spare was cracked (don't ask...) So I'll hopefully be getting them soon.

Man that grille is still awesome. I hope to try something similar without completely ripping your style lol At first I wasn't too sure if I could get away with those in the NYC area but now that I've been looking I've seen a few vehicles with lit grilles (LED strips though).

One question, I was told that the lights that I plan to purchase (linked above) are a Gen 3 set. How do you tell the difference between Gen 1, 2, 3 & 4 Halos?

Got mine from Carid.com. Spec-D CCFl halos and Spec-D LED fogs. Ran me just over 350 with shipping to Calgary AB.

Finally put my LED Halos in! I like them a lot although I still need have halogen bubs on the bottom row of the lights. Those are my running lights and turn signal. I'd like to replace them with some LED bulbs. Does anyone know it there's a company that sells these bulbs together or where I can find them for a good price?

I have been thinking of swapping over the headlights for these. However I do a lot of travel a night on roads where its very common to meet up with Roos and Wombats, and despite the bullbar the damage gets rather costly. How is the spread and beam length as opposed to the stock lights?I am currently running 55w HID,'s in low and 100w HID's in high beam at 5000k.These are adequate and I dont want to trade off any performance.Cheers.

The projectors beam spread is real good and more focused and with HID's in them you pick up the reflective tapes and paints on signs, vehicles, reflection of animals eyes, etc. really well. A lot of us here in the States don't run HID's in high beams, just bright bulbs because with the low beam HIDs, you really don't need high beams too often. A few of us also run HIDs in projector fog lights which makes a huge difference over stock or normal lens fogs.

Hey everyone, I'm just posting some updated photos now that I've replaced the halogen running lights and turn signal for LEDs. Cool thing about the turn signal is that instead of flashing on and off it flashes from orange to white, which I thought was a nice touch.

I am ordering one more set of running light LED bulbs though, because one of the bulbs that I was sent seems to have a short. If I hit a bump it will turn off then back on. I'd ship it back for an exchange, but its cheaper to just cheaper to order another pair and keep an extra bulb handy.

You can also see that I plasti-dipped the grill from chrome to the new Anthracite Grey color that they released. Once I finish trims and rims I'll upload some pics
