Having trouble replacing glove box LED light?

I'm about to order LEDs for my interior, and figured the glove box would be the most complicated, so why not try and get it apart and ready? Following the WJJeeps.com removal guide, I was finally able to get the glove box in the fully open position (after taking BOTH of the rubber stoppers off...). Now I can't figure out how to remove the light socket or put the stoppers back on.

On a side note, do all WJ's have the vanity mirror lights, and courtesy footwell lights? Thought it was weird that mine didn't...

Update: I found the footwell lights after moving some wires underneath the dash (Have a headunit, amp, and sub). For some reason they don't turn on at all. I looked at the bulbs and they don't look burned out

Yeah, I found that out shortly after I installed them. I finally was able to get the glovebox light in and got the stoppers back on! Makes a huge difference...
