Headlight removal

Hi everyone,
I am trying to replace headlight bulbs on my 2003 Grand Cherokee Overland. I cannot get the headlamp housings to budge! According to what I've read, the headlamp housings should pop out fairly easily. I'm getting nowhere. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Kelly

That's no joke. Take a large screwdriver or small pry bar to the back and "pop" it out. They do not pop out very easy at all. But they will come out with a little help from a pry bar.

Re: Headlight removal

once you get it out and change those bulbs apply some silicone grease to the ball sockets... next time theyll pop off with only hand pressure. wear gloves when removing them. thank me later

Re: Headlight removal

Thanks all! By the way, I used one of the renewal kits last night with ok results. The lenses may have been too far gone. I guess I will be replacing the headlights soon. I'm kinda liking those projector styles!
