The actual color of them will vary a little. the variables being: Place of Purchase, 35 watt or 55 watt, and i believe if you use a relay harness or not will make an ever so slight difference. If you go with DDM (cheaper, simple to install, lifetime warranty) they have a color chart on their site.

but yes, you are correct! 5000K is the most white possible. 4300 is great, so is 5000K. it all comes down to whatever you like. I Happen to like 6000K the best.

driving conditions and the type of area you live in (city, rural, suburb) may also be something to take into consideration as well

Re: Headlights

I have 6000k HIDs in my lows, they are very white with just a tinge of blue on the edges from what I can see. From my understanding:

4300k = bright white
5000k = pure white
6000k = pure white with faint blue

In the end it all depends on what you want, what kind of look you are going for.

Re: Headlights

According to all the items I have read your 4300 gives the greatest amount of true light over the largest area and supposedly has less "feathering" of the vision area around the extreme edges of your light path.

I have just ordered my projection lights and 4300 HID kit so I will let you know how true the statements are. LOL

well i live in the city but drive a lot in the country and in dark areas. hence why im leaning towards a bright white.

yeah. it was only $40 more and I really enjoy the look better. I saw two WKs over the weekend, one had regular and the other had CCFLs and after seeing the two next to each other. It was just too damn hard to not go with the CCFL.

its cause almost everyone would take a clean WJ over a rice rocket

hopefully they come in today and get the HIDs in the beginning of next week and I install next weekend. I feel like a little kid waiting by the front door for a package..... and this is where I want to be

Re: Headlights

Sweet! You will need 9006 for the lows, not sure on the fogs.

I ran XenonDepot's XtremeHID w/Philips 4300k bulbs and they were excellent.

Re: Headlights

Thanks! I figured that was the size but just wanted to double check. Went with 5000k. What should I run in my highs? I was looking at the silverstars. Anyone have preference?
