I like the brushed aluminum look, does anyone have any shots of the srt8 reps, some decent shots? I like marty's but I can't seem to find any closeups.

Does anyone know how much USD it'll cost for a set of regular brushed aluminum reps and rubber?

Re: Hey guys! Help a noober out, srt10 rims?!

Here's my issue,

I like SRT reps, but i hate chrome wheels.
I have a silverstone WJ

So really, I don't know if black will look nice (if I did get black reps, it would match my windows though (pitch black) and my taillights will be tinted dark soon, so there will be enough black.

I might try graphite but no one has bought them before so I have no idea what they will look like in real life and in sunlight.

Help me out fellas haha

Re: Hey guys! Help a noober out, srt10 rims?!

Well well well...a creeper huh? LOL...whats your name?

Here's the deal. If you get 22's, you'll need a rubber band. Like a 35 or less sidewall, otherwise they will rub when you turn.

And IMHO, 22's are TOO big for a WJ. A WK can pull it off, but I think 20's are the biggest I would go for a WJ.

So you're looking at the either the 20" Viper or SRT8 reps. By the way, mine are real, not reps. I puzzled my set together. Its possible to avoid the crazy price tag that a set of OEM SRT8's have on them. But it takes a lot of time and patience, and then you will probably still end up paying $2000+ for wheels and tires.

Reps don't come in a machined or polished finish. You get either chrome, or gloss black, or competition gray. If you want a polished wheel, you'll have to get the real deal.

Why don't you be the first to do the gray reps? Someone has to be the first! Hehe. Graphite would look good too, but you'll have to have them sprayed or powdercoated. Marty just had his chrome reps powdercoated matte black.

I like the look of a black wheel, but I wouldn't buy an all black wheel. Thats just me.

I bought my oem unmounted SRT's brand new with brand new runflats on ebay for $1900. There are deals...ya just gotta find them. i'd say for reps and a decent tire...your looking at $15-$1700

Thanks for solidifying what I thought, 22' rims look goofy on WJ's, they look a little too hood rich for me lol.

So I guess its either black SRT Reps on my WJ, or the grey ones. Does marty have any pictures up yet of his black powder coated reps on his wj? There's a lot of decent shops nearby if I wanted to powdercoat 'em.

I may just go black or grey srt reps with 20x9 in the front and 20x10 in the back, should look sick!

Damn the silverstone color, so hard to match.

oh btw I was on streetjeeps, jeepsunlimited, and jeepforum ... probably one or two more I've forgotten. None of 'em compare, this is by far the best site for street jeeps. As for jeep forum unless your jeep is 6 inches off the ground no one wants to help you rofl, and streetjeeps is dead lately.
