HID Projector headlight question

Does any have this kit? If so, what's your take on them?

Re: HID Projector headlight question

those PROJECTOR FOG LIGHTS have bad projectors there a old project that dose not point light out good. its a wast of money unless you want to the look and mostly look good on dark jeeps

if you want more light out of your fogs HID are more for show. in the WJ can upgrade the fog bulb to a 9005 (high beam bulb) and aim them right. the the output is great also wont melt the fog lights like some do with hids in there.
did it in mine as other do and get more light ahead and on the sides were you need them in fogs.
simple 9005 bulbs from any auto store will be about $20 for 2

Re: HID Projector headlight question

I was looking at them for the look but if they're gonna give me less light then I get now... I'll pass on them.

Re: HID Projector headlight question

you can upgrade them with a hid kit which will get rid of poor light. I have those samy type lights for my 05 wk and there bright as hell right outta the box.

Re: HID Projector headlight question

the ones for 99-04 use poor projectors will have more light but might not all be on the road. if you want fogs for looks this is the way to go.

Re: HID Projector headlight question

ok... the Idea is, since I have to take the front of my truck apart to replace the radiator, I might as well replace a few other things in the mix. (water pumpe, temp sensor, t-stat and both head and fog lights, as well as paint my bumper). I'm thinking of these for head lights and now maybe the fogs posted earlier.

What do you guys think of these head lights
