Re: How do i cut my bumper for my Hitch cover

I used a tiny router... a Rotozip, which is like a Dremel. I am sure a jigsaw would work, but you'd need to ensure that no "hammering" action damaged the surrounding paint. I also suspect that you could get by with a sharp knife, making numerous passes to work through the plastic.

Cheers,
Steve

When I did mine, it came with a template. I'm guessing yours didn't? It doesn't call for screws either. It has plastic studs that poke through to bumper and you attach it to the inside with speed nuts.

Re: How do i cut my bumper for my Hitch cover

I got the hitch trim at the junk yard the bumper was to far gone to take with me and the studs had to be broken off to remove. I was wondering where can i get a bumper with the hitch cutout and the trim? or just the new hitch cover?
