lol i figure this out by cleaning off the cables and testing the lines. but i picked up a set used from a part out so i could do it inside.

am over in Brooklyn and ill be honest with you with all the street light HIDs are pointless. i just added a 4300K set in to gen 3 projections (aimed them right) and other then the light being a bit whiter and hits a bit more of the side i can still see the same as with my stock housing and basic 9006 bulbs. have to wait till i go out to NJ and long island to see the differences i guess. but not crazy on the black housing so might sell them.

but my stock housing light are in great shape and aimed right with my fogs so i am getting all the light on the road were it should be. never had any problems seeing even on pitch black back mountain roads in PA with curves every 10 feet. if i need more i hit the high beams when no on else is in front or coming towards me.

your not putting HID in the stock housing are you?

No,I ordered a pair of projectors. I work in a sanitation garage in Queens and if you think sometimes there's a lot of salt in the streets, you should see our cars around the garage. After a couple of years the salt just puts eats through the headlight cover. I figured since I have to get new headlights,I might as well try hids.

yea i know the elements kill these plastic covers. theres a plastic wax you can put on them to protect the film.
my jeep was in a garage till 07 so that helped.

lol the salt yards are salt roads due to all the fall off from the pile to the bed and the bed to the door.

Re: how to wire led & halos

I'll be on a stay at home vacation next week so that's when I'll be installing the lights.Everything looks so easy with the installation on the forum and the videos I've seen but I know everytime I do something there's always a pain in the a** moment.

unless the headlights have not been out of the ball socket it might be a bit tough to pop out the headlights.

simple thing is to just used wire taps, but since were in NY tape alot so no dirt causes corrosion. theirs room behind the headlight to mount the HIDS.

max its a 2 hour job if you take your time, just don't touch the bulbs with your finger tips

Re: how to wire led & halos

If I want the led side lights to blink with the turn signal then I tap the leds into the parking light & turn signal correct?

no just turn signal the one all the way to the corner but they will still be on with parking lamps and blink with turn signal

green is the blinker cable

if you want the leds and halos on with the parking lights just tap into the 2 cables in the middle.

Black, would I tap into the the green or black/purple on the for leds to blink for turns? I tried the outside on both wires and one stays on constant and the other just comes on with the turn signal.Wouldn't the inside wires do the same thing?Maybe I'll try the inside wires and see what happens.
Later everyone in the tri-state area,if you hear a whole lot of cursing & things breaking,it's just me Aiming and Adjusting these damn lights. So please don't call the police.
