Thanks black,I got it.The first time I did it I forgot to tap into the right wire and after I put the headlight back on and thought about it,I realized what I did wrong. The only pain in the a** thing was finding a place to put the fog light ballasts without taking the front bumper off.

This next guy wired the 3 LED's on the side to work in tandem with the 2 #194 bulb's as turn signals

The top link is how my stock lights work on my 2001 wj. Why would it change if you put in new housing the bulbs and wires are still the same? I believe it's normal. All parking lights and sidemarkers are on all the time then the sidemarker and inner turn signal alternate flashing when turn signal is applied.

Where did you end up mounting the fog light balast? I'll be adding hid fogs to my 2001 soon.

The passenger side was easy because there's a lot of room so I put the ballast under the battery. There's a little platform the slim ballast fits on.The driver's side is tight so I had to use a lot of zip ties so I could run it around everything under there.I placed it on the platform by the steering column. It would have been way easier to take the bumper off and that's my plan when it warms up.

Re: how to wire led & halos

So quick question. I have a 2000 Laredo and I've been wanting to get halo headlights for it but the ones I've found on ebay that I want say that they don't fit the Laredos. I didn't think there was a difference for headlight fitment so does anyone know what it would be that would make them non compatible? Thanks.

they will fit just fine. the only only issue I believe is some WJ models have amber lenses and clear signal bulbs and other models have clear lenses and amber signal bulbs, so you might have to get amber bulbs, if you currently have lights with amber lenses. Since it looks like all the projector set ups have clear lenses

I have the DDM slim ballasts for my fog HIDs with harness, doesn't seem like they will reach that far to mount them away from the fog light location in front. Even with the harness. Did you extend any wires? If you can post a few pictures of where you mounted them that would be great! Did they have mounting bracket for the DDM slim ballast ? I didn't see one

Thanks,

Scott

Re: how to wire led & halos

when I installed my HIDs for the fogs I noticed like a shelf kinda if you look up above the fog lights within the fender liner, I put them there and closed everything up and they haven't moved as far as I know and have been there since last summer

Did you use a mounting bracket or double face tape? I have slim ballast from DDM and was looking for some sort of bracket to permanently mount. Dont trust the tape after too long

Re: how to wire led & halos

I didn't use anything, just left them there. These are the fatter ballasts though. I have ddm slims for my lows, and those ballasts are just sitting right under the headlights
