EDIT: If I wanted to do something as far as the brakes are concerned (so I can stop this behemoth a little better), what would you guys suggest?
ilirdino,

Hi, I have planning on modding my new 02 WJ a bit (previously had a 99 XJ) and have been thinking hard about what kind of brush guard to get.

Yours looks awesome and may actually be just what I'm looking for (same with the rear guard). If its not too much to ask, would you be able to send me a couple pictures and maybe let me know what kind it is?

Thanks a ton.

Otherwise if anyone else knows that would be great too.

I'll try and snap a few pictures of the brush guard up front and also the rear bumper. I'm sorry for the delay, I haven't been on the site in a while.

I'm not so sure I like the look of the halo projectors on a Jeep, its a BMW thing that had been adopted by the fast and furious crowd and has made its way into the after market. It seems to jap scrap for me. I like the look of OEM 2004 black housing like these....

Match that up with a set of tinted tails and do the quad mod and I think the look is much cleaner and stealth looking. You can always do an HID conversion with out the projectors on the 04 head lights. I'll likely go this route as well as I just picked up my 2002 Grand last weekend.

Someone mentioned there is an affiliate who supplies tinted tails. Is there a shareable link please? I'd like to check them out myself.

lost some in the 0 to 60 department on 2 different 4.7s
with 2 different exhausts. But........ I tow alot, boat, trailers, etc and when I got to my first hill thats when I became impressed. It would pull longer harder and faster than it ever did before

I don't know what its like to have a full set of new pipes all around, but I can tell you that I am addicted to the sound my Jeep makes. The Flowmaster 50 has a really nice, deep growl to it and my friends notice instantly that the Jeep isn't completely stock. The CAI sounds phenomenal from inside the cabin and my fuel efficiency is definitely suffering as a result of it, haha. I just get in and rip it to 5,000 RPMs just because it's so awesome. I don't really care much what my numbers look like 0-60, so I can't comment in that regard.

Despite my signature, I think my next mod is going to be 3" pipes all around. It would be nice to open her up a little better.

PS - I'll try to get some quality pictures for the brush guard up tomorrow. I don't know what it is since this is how she's looked since my dad bought it in '99. So, I hope can help you figure out what to buy.

Happy modding!

Re: I'm new here and looking for some advice

I just got owned by the blend door issue. I felt my heat waning and weak air flow on the passenger side but thought that I could stick out for this winter. The other day, it was 45F out here and when I got in the Jeep in the AM, I was freezing my tits off. I can't imagine what it's going to be like when it actually gets cold. I ran the diagnostic and it spit out codes 54 and 56. It's time for the heatertreater mumbo jumbo this weekend. I'm also going to gorilla glue my weather stripping since it's falling apart.

Wish me luuuck!
